Mmmm. I won't go very far in that line of thought, but having a male around in the house doing chores ands the like... could prove to be troublesome on saturdays and sundays when he switch to sportschannel to escape the ugly reality of the golden cage slavery. And he won't bring a penny home. According to HIS standards the house will be clean, but it will not necessarily imply that it will meet the Mistress basic requirements. Oh and incidentally, he may also find the whole "pet-like" appelation, triffly downgrading. Even if he's a male, he got some basic understanding of reality (beer-cars-sex-football), he'll eventually realize his position in you little empire, and once he reach that point... you may find that handling an enlighted male could prove to be very difficult, he may turn violent or try to escape playing World of Warcraft or Ultima Online, thus turning addict. This is the worst case scenario... the male pet turned into a online-game-vegetable-state. He won't bring home a penny (nothing new here) but worst, he won't accoplish any chores or make sex anymore... In conclusion, clean your own house, have a boyfriend who lives at his own place and by yourself a fishtank, or a potted fern. They won't bring a penny home, but you won't be stuck with them since they can't turn obcessed with WoW 
PS. My ex-wife tried that precise enslavement technique, you mentionned, with me. It was not a success. Our marriage ended abruptly when the slave grew tired enough after 6 years of abuse. |

Damn... I always feel incredibly lucky everytime I here you talk about your ex-wife and how you had to rebuild your life and start back from scratch... 
This happens even with couples who don't necessarily have a "pet/mistress" relationship.

Of course I am aware that she was joking. You should also be aware of the total sarcasm that tint my reply. I added the PS cos I couldn't let that pass, and you know how I like to include a dramatic conclusion to most of my posts. Overall, I was also taking the whole affair on the light side. I am sorry if my humor is a bit rash, but I am rash sort of person, and I confess, sorting the jokes from the serious of my messages could be a bit tricky. Nontheless, since I retired, I do not take me particularily on the serious side. even if it sounds like it. I guess I'll be misunderstood anyway, even if I play "boulet" and put smilies... You just have to ignore my posts (95% of members are doing so). It won't hurt me, I've been trough worst.

I was never gone. I took a vacation, and I make my daily stop in the present forum. But since I retired from the admin position, I take little interrest in the futile loopy-boulet-topics that are paving most of the way through the interresting stuff. It did took me couple of month before posting back, since I had nothing to say before, why should I had posted something? I do not concider myself as a postwhore, or worst... the legendary "boulet". So I kept my (figuratively speaking) mouth shut. I must confess that I make more post, mainly in the Tavern, just for the sake of milestoning my presence in the forums. I read all the changes, and seen the evolution (if we can call it that), but most of the time, even if I disaprove, it is not my role to play the moderator or the admin. I am really happy with my simple member role. I do spend my energy elswhere tho. I am co-founder of a now successfull Game Clan. Managing our game server, forum and website take a large punction of my availability. At least I have somthing back. A strong core group of friends, wittch I talk to (voice) every day, and a game server onto witch I can play with my friends. We are now teamworking against an army of evil soldier, very entertaining and time consuming. If you ever bother to see our stuff, stop by our website.
