I've been taught with UK accent... not strong, but let's say like the Beatles'.
So I got used to it.

I don't get a word from those shitty american films.
For example, I was in London when I saw The Dark Knight, so I had no subtitles, not even in english, but I thought it would be okay... I didn't get half of the words they said. Except from the joker, who was australian, I understood everything (but i guess he had made an effort on his accent so not to speak too weird)

A friend of mine has been taught english with australian guys... I understand very well, but his accent sounds so pretentious, I don't know if that comes from him or from Australia.
