well, TheDark, i guess that french and north american bbq parties are quite the same...maybe there are subtles differences...in northern america, do they grill merguezes and beef or mutton ribs, for example?

Sheep is not really available in the usual grocery in north-america, it's just not in our customs to eat sheep. Thoughm when I was living in France, I used to go at the "couscous" at least once a week, and to my opinion, grilled sheep smells awfull, but taste quite good. Odd isn't it?

In the other hand, mergez... mergez... I love merguezes, on BBQs, or just cooked in lignt butter, even steamed, always with a cooled beer (what else?)... but it's not easy to find good merguezes in the pit hole I live in. When I was in Montréal, mergez was on the menu once or twice a week. Here I can't find real mergez. The last I found were untrusrworthily grey....

BUt we can virtually cook almost anything on BBQ, pizzas, beef pieces, chiken, fish, toasts... We use mainly the BBQ as cooking apparel on ous summer fishing trip upnorth. As the BBQ is outside (for safetyu reasons) the eat produced by cooking, don't pile up in thge camp where we're sleeping. I'm shure you got the idea.

Cya later, I'm done for now Wink

I'll show you how, when you'll show me how to make ice cream using a BBQ.. Mr. Green.

Nay... but we're using cooking pots over the grill, using the BBQ if it's a regular oven. So We're able to cook virtually anything, using the proper pot, pan or metal plate. Idea

McDonald's sauce is a bit... nonedescript. It was designed toi accomodate most of the vast custommers mass.

I rather use Bull's BBQ sauce, it got quite a personality and what a taste! It goes right with beef or pork.

I also use hickory smoked flavored sauces and Roasted garlic and Honney based sauces. Depending on the style I wish my food to taste.

The sauce I refer to wont leave the unpleasantness of a fragrant after meal. In fact, it'a a BBQ sauce seasoned with roaster garlic and honney, and this sweet-sour mix, is dominated by the BBQ sauce itself, so it prevent the garlic to overcome yous social appeal. Idea

Note. Last sumer, in the full BBQ season, they had something aroud 50 variety of BBQ sauces available at my grocer. Enough to brighten indefinitly you summer's cooking Smile
